Of Gus Hansen op tilt was en fel van zich afbeet, of dat hij het meende is (nog) niet helemaal duidelijk. Feit is dat hij vraagtekens zette bij de speelwijze van Di Dang (Urindanger) en Phil Galfond (OMGClayAiken).

Het gebeurde allemaal aan de $500-$1.000 Pot Limit Omaha op FullTiltPoker. Alvorens verder te gaan eerst de hand waar het allemaal om draait:

Gus Hansen bet $3.500 uit en Urindanger maakt de call. OMGClayAiken besluit te raisen naar $18.000 en Gus Hansen callt. Urindanger gaat vervolgens all-in voor $48.144 en OMGClayAiken reshoved naar $167.432. Gus Hansen callt all-in voor $99.485 totaal.

Het board komt en OMGClayAiken wint deze three way all-in.

Dan begint Gus Hansen in de chat:

Gus Hansen neemt de gift van Phil Ivey niet aan en kan de zaak ook niet laten rusten getuige de chat op de andere tafel.

Phil Ivey probeert het tij nog te doen keren en de humor terug aan tafel te krijgen:

Het is duidelijk dat Gus Hansen het totaal niet eens is met de play van Urindanger gezien de actie die er aan vooraf ging. Echter Brian Hastings en Tom Dwan (durrrr) konden zich wel vinden in de play van Urindager en Phil Galfond (foto rechts). Durrrr is erg duidelijk in zijn commentaar op Gus Hansen op 2+2: "gus is retarded, they're both good friends of mine and super ethical/trustworthy. Also z's shove is v close, im sure he could find a worse play sometime in the next week or w/e that would look way more like cheating, the shove could easily be right."

Als Durrrr wordt aangesproken op deze reactie gaat hij nog een stapje verder: Gus's open is wide as ****, ivey will probly fold kkxx w/ z shoving, and omgclay will squeeze wide enough (imo he squeezes this spot too wide). I think its like less than 2k -ev or w/e. I was just arguing w/ ivey about it who disagrees a bunch so i should probly mention that, but i obv think its true or i wouldnt have said it. Also i said theres plays which look worse like collusion regularly (people dont play perfect and make mistakes etc). This is really classless and stupid by gus imo.

Het laatste woord is er ongetwijfeld niet over gezegd, maar het lijkt er op dat Gus Hansen in zijn tilt iets te heftig heeft gereageerd.
