De Australia New Zealand Poker Tour in Adelaide is gewonnen door Karl Krautshneder. Hij wist zijn 213 tegenstanders te verslaan en ontving daarvoor AUD$170.215.

Krautshneder kwalificeerde zich voor slechts $31 op PokerStars voor dit toernooi dat in het Crown Casino gehouden werd. Over zijn overwinning zegt hij: ""I feel fantastic after winning my way here on PokerStars for only $31; the whole tournament has been so exciting for me. I am definitely going to playing in more of these, especially as I am now the point's leader. I really want to play in some of the APPT in Asia and this gives me a great chance to get there," aldus Krautshneder.

Van het geld gaat hij op vakantie: "I want to take my daughter on a holiday, after the credit card has been taken care of."

Aan het toernooi deden een aantal bekende spelers mee die allemaal het eerste toernooi van de NZPT wilde winnen: Joe Hachem, Lee 'Final Table' Nelson, Tony Hachem

Het volgende toernooi in de Australia New Zealand Poker Tour wordt gehouden in de Star City Casino in Sydney en begint 30 april.
