Na het recentelijk aflopen van het contract tussen PokerStars en Joe Hachem hebben beide partijen besLoten het hierbij te laten. Joe Hachem is niet langer lid van Team PokerStars Pro's.

Joe Hachem won in 2005 het Main Event van de World Series of Poker voor $7.5 miljoen, kort daarna trad hij toe tot Team PokerStars.

Joe Hachem: "It's been a great run with PokerStars and I'm proud of my association with the people and the company. But it's time for me to pursue other career opportunities and it will be fun to have some down time to spend with my family. I look forward to the future with much excitement and anticipation and will always have fond memories of my time at PokerStars."

Een jaar na zijn Main Event overwinning kwam Joe Hachem dicht bij een tweede bracelet. In datzelfde jaar, 2006, wist hij wel de WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic te winnen voor $2.2 miljoen. Joe Hachem heeft op de Hendon Mob pagina meer dan $11 miljoen aan lifetime live toernooi winnings.

Voor PokerStars is hij in een 8-delige serie op zoek gegaan naar Australia's Next Poker Star.
