Met de derde stack aan tafel begon Roberto Romanello gisteren aan de finale tafel van het WSOPE €1090 event op jacht naar de Triple Crown. Het is hem helaas niet gelukt om geschiedenis te schrijven, Roberto werd op een vijfde plaats uitgeschakeld.

Winnaar van het grootste WSOPE toernooi ooit met 771 deelnemers is de Australier Andrew Hinrichsen geworden. Hij was heads up te sterk voor Gianluca Speranza.

Andrew Hinrichsen over zijn overwinning in het grootste WSOPE veld ooit: "It's a significant achievement, for sure. I am pretty speechless at the moment, to be honest. I have not even had much time to think about it. These kinds of things are always so unrealistic when you think about it. You just don't think about it much until it actually happens. So, now I guess I will have the next few days to think about this and enjoy it."

Het €5300 Pot Limit Omaha event is gisteren ook tot de laatste 9 spelers gekomen. Toernooiheld Sam Tricket mag vandaag als chipleader starten op de laatste dag. Aan de finaletafel zien we ook Eoghan O'Dea en en Erich Kollmann terug.
