De European Poker Tour is begonnen met season 8 en heeft een nieuw persoon aan het roer staan. Afgelopen week werd Edgar Stuchly de nieuwe EPT President.

Stuchly is niet nieuw in de branche, sterker nog: hij heeft al ruim 20 jaar ervaring. Voor zijn nieuwe baan als EPT President was hij Head of Poker voor Casinos Austria. Hij stond als manager aan het hoofd van de pokerrooms in 12 casino's, richtte de Casinos Austria Poker Tour op en werd Poker Staff Person of the Year.

"The EPT is the richest and most prestigious poker tour in Europe, and I'm delighted to be joining a much-loved and well-run live tour," aldus Stuchly. "The goal now is to take the EPT to another level, in terms of improving the experience for players and expanding the tour into burgeoning poker markets in Europe. It's a big challenge but one that I'm relishing."
