Zoals bekend zijn er van alle 55 bracelets events livestreams dit jaar en om het helemaal af te maken gaat Kara Scott als co-host optreden bij de livestreams.

Team PartyPoker lid Kara Scott zal dus een stuk minder aan spelen toekomen dit jaar. Zij zal commentaar geven bij de livestream, maar ook spelers interviewen. "I'll be spending the next couple weeks trying to sensitively ask, 'So... You just busted out of a major event, what happened there?' without making people cry," zo zegt Kara Scott.

Kara Scott is niet onbekend met interviewen, zo was zij een tijd lang host tijdens de European Poker Tour en de afgelopen twee seizoenen co-host bij High Stakes Poker. De World Series of Poker is waarschijnlijk weer een stap hoger voor Kara Scott. "The WSOP is such a massive event," zo zegt ze. "Everything about it is huge - huge fields of players, huge rooms, huge prize money - and my job is to humanize it and help the viewers understand what it's like to sit down in that room and play for a bracelet."

Ondanks dat ze al ruim een half miljoen in live time winnings heeft en ook twee hele diepe runs in het Main Event van de WSOP heeft gehad ziet zij zichzelf niet als professional pokerspeelster. "Although I've been playing a lot of poker for Party and really love sitting behind a chip stack, I'm no full time poker pro. My main job really is working as a host/reporter on TV so getting a chance to stretch those muscles on a project like this is exciting!" aldus Kara Scott.
