Afgelopen weekend was de tweede SuperStar showdown en dit keer was het enfant terrible Tony G die het op nam tegen Isildur1. Beide heren speelden op 4 tafels 50/100 No Limit Hold'em en Pot Limit Omaha. Geheel volgens de regels was de partij na 2500 handen gedaan en was het dit keer Isildur1 die de winnaar was. Na eerder $41.701 te hebben verloren aan Isaac Haxton, won hij in de tweede partij $44.820,- 

Tony G kwam uitstekend uit de startblokken maar vanaf het midden van de partij was het Isildur1-tijd. Tony G nam de nederlaag als een man en schreef kort na de partij het volgende verslag op het 2+2 forum: 

I am sitting here on my balcony in NZ after the huge battle today with the loved isildur1. We had a mega battle I really enjoyed it I put my hart on at stick and stuck it out there I was not good enough but I am happy to be alive happy to have had the opportunity to take on a super star as I am just a mere mortal just another player with a mega Lithuanian warrior hart inside of me. Its true I am from the streets and had nothing when online poker started the days of me playing on partypoker and paradise poker are not old the game then was 20-40 limt that was the big game in town and I had my hart there every day and night just like isildur1 has now he is the new kid the winner the champ and there are many many other one that are better then me but I was up with them and I am not far away even for my old age. 

The game would have been much closer but I tried to win it as many of my close friends bet on me to win this thing not even talking to me about it even a professor from world famous uni bet on now that is crazy being a street bloke I dont let my friends down I take the unders I go for the win no matter the odds I get it in real bad with K6 for $30,000 as I had some hope to win that pot and win the match now that would have been a turn up but the game showed there is hope for everyone good bad and ugly just like me a bit of everything and a bit of nothing what is hart? 

I read these forums all the time and really respect all of you guys thanks for being there and enjoying poker at least when you win and thanks for abusing me beraitng me hating me I deserve it all as I am out of line a lot of the time but dont get me wrong I love the game and I love this community you are the oldest in my book and the biggest so thanks for being there. 

Now I need everyone to lobby for a reamatch that is fair and my sponcsor deserves it lets replay this thing on my home turf at partypoker asap and I will add $50,000 to the pool as a contest of this magnitude deserves some money added and we will hide isildurs1 identity that is not up for discussion we I hope might just all want to see a EURO fight between and old man that is out of line a super star young gun.

We zijn benieuwd of deze rematch er gaat komen op Party Poker, zou wel zo eerlijk zijn aangezien Isildur1 kort na de verloren partij tegen Haxton om een rematch vroeg, lees ook: Isildur1: I don't think he deserve to win! over zijn match tegen Haxton.
