De World Poker Tour heeft via een persverklaring bekend gemaakt dat zij een contract van vijf jaar hebben afgesloten met het Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California.

In dit casino wordt al vanaf het eerste seizoen van de World Poker Tour het 'Legends of Poker' toernooi gehouden. Nu, seizoen negen, is het nog steeds het meest populaire toernooi en één van de meest aansprekende titels op de World Poker Tour. Veel spelers reizen ieder jaar af naar dit casino om het op te nemen tegen de meest aansprekende namen.

President van de World Poker Tour Adam Pliska over de deal: “The Bicycle Casino has been an enthusiastic and devoted venue partner and the WPT is proud to continue its association with the incredibly popular Legends of Poker event and the team behind it.”

Ook het Bicycle Casino is natuurlijk blij dit toernooi in ieder geval te mogen hosten tot en met 2015:  “It is very evident that the WPT made significant enhancements across the board this year and has plans to continue to do so in the future. We believe these changes are resonating with our players and with us. We’ve had nine great seasons together and look forward to at least five more. I believe together we’ll continue to offer players a better experience during every year of this deal,” aldus Kelly O'Hara.
