Voor iemand die een tijdelijk afscheid had genomen van online poker zit Shaun Deeb uitstekend te kaarten. Nadat hij enige tijd geleden had aangegeven toe te zijn aan een lange pauze van online poker is hij nu weer volop aan het kaarten en bezig aan een uitstekende comeback. Shaun Deeb won vorig weekend al de $750k grtd op FullTilt voor een dikke $130k winst. Ook in de WCOOP laat hij zich gelden, op het moment van schrijven zit hij in het WCOOP 28 event, $1050,- 1 miljoen grtd heads up tegen Tjollerboy.

Eerder deze week liet hij in een interview aan Pocket Fives weten dat zijn spel door de pauze er sterk op vooruit gegaan is: "It feels a bit different to be back. The game has changed and there are more people playing like I do... "There are actually more people doing the same moves, which makes it easier to predict. The new style is stuff I did when I was playing full-time."
