Shane Lynch van de populaire groep Boyzone heeft een sponsorcontract getekend bij Ladbrokes. Hij is uiteraard erg opgetogen dat hij nu voor Ladbrokes toernooien mag gaan spelen.

Shane Lynch heeft een contract voor een jaar getekend bij de pokerroom die op het Microgaming netwerk opereert. Hij zal over de hele wereld toernooien gaan spelen in de rode outfit. Lynch is nog vrij nieuw in de game, maar werd gegrepen door het spelletje toen hij in 2008 Ronan Keating tijdens het Ladbrokes Irisch Poker Festival moest vervangen.

Hij gaat voor Ladbrokes ook de World Series of Poker spelen en als hij de top 100 weet te halen, dan krijgt hij een bedrag wat hij aan een goed doel van zijn keuze mag doneren.

Lynch over poker: “I’d always been a bit intimidated by the poker scene; I’d seen it on TV and found the whole thing a bit baffling. But having spent time with the Ladbrokes players at a few events last year, I’ve seen that you don’t need to be an expert to give it a go. I’m really looking forward to getting into this poker journey, learning more and having some great fun along the way.”
