PartyPoker heeft aangekondigd een nieuwe speler te hebben aangetrokken voor Team Party. Het is niemand minder dan de charmante Kara Scott.

Kara Scott kreeg voor het eerst bekendheid door als gastvrouw voor PokerStars TV op te treden bij de European Poker Tour en in februari zal zij voor het eerst te zien zijn als co-host van Gabe Kaplan in High Stakes Poker. Daarnaast kan zij ook een aardig potje pokeren. In 2008 bereikte zij de 104e plaats tijdens het Main Event van de World Series of Poker. In april van 2009 werd zij tweede in de Irish Open. In totaal wist zij in twee jaar $552.902 bij elkaar te pokeren.

Haar collega in Team Party is natuurlijk Mike Sexton, daarnaast maken ook Remy Biechel, Ian Frazer, Stewart Scott, Bodo Sbrzesny en Felipe Ramos deel uit van het team.

Kara Scott, die in Brian Townsend voorlopig haar partner vond, krijgt de buy-ins voor de grote toernooien en mag natuurlijk meedoen aan alle Party Poker televisie events zoals de Premier League.

Kara Scott over de deal: “It is fantastic to have signed a deal to join Team Party. It works perfectly for me as I get the opportunity to further improve my game on the live circuit as well as carrying on presenting. I’m so excited about the future.”

Ook Party Poker is natuurlijk blij met de deal: “Kara is a great signing and we are really looking forward to working with her. She has historic links with PartyPoker after taking down the Sports Stars Challenge III and we have been super impressed by her progress since then. As well as being a great presenter, Kara is also a fantastic player with great results and the potential to go even further. We are excited about his new relationship.”
